  You turn on the hot water tap and the boiler does not start.

  Cause: The flow switch does not detect the flow of water and does not send the ignition signal to the control board.

  Check that the flow rate at that faucet is sufficient: a dirty aerator or low mains pressure can simulate the same fault.

  The hot water comes out and cuts off intermittently, as if it were coughing.

  Cause: The flow switch intermittently loses contact due to dirt or wear of the internal paddle.

  Open and close the tap several times in a row to see if the cut always occurs at the same flow point.

  The boiler ignites well for heating but does not provide domestic hot water.

  Cause: It is the typical pattern when the domestic hot water pressure switch fails while the rest of the circuit operates normally.

  First, rule out a clogged water inlet filter, which reduces the flow rate below the minimum that activates the flow switch.

• 04

  The flow of hot water has decreased significantly even though the pressure of the system is normal.

  Cause: A stuck float or turbine of the pressure switch does not rotate enough to provide the complete signal.

  Check the pressure on the boiler's manometer before intervening: if it is low, the problem may be related to pressure and not the pressure switch.
