  You open the hot water tap and nothing happens: no ignition attempt or burner noise.

  Cause: The detector is not sending a flow signal, so the boiler does not start.

  Check that the water flow is reaching correctly by testing another faucet or checking the mains pressure before replacing the sensor.

  The domestic hot water cuts off by itself a few seconds after opening the tap, even if you keep the tap open.

  Cause: The detector loses the signal if the flow decreases slightly, and the boiler interprets that there is no longer a demand.

  Test with the tap fully open: if it doesn't cut off with high flow, the fault is in the sensitivity of the detector.

  The hot water comes in bursts, as if the boiler is turning the burner on and off several times in a row.

  Cause: The internal contact of the detector is not stable and sends intermittent pulses to the boiler.

  Check that the pre-filter before the detector is clean: dirt can cause intermittent ignitions.

  The display shows a flow or water shortage error, even though the tap is open and with normal pressure.

  Cause: The boiler does not receive confirmation of water flow from the detector, acting as if there is no flow.

  Before changing it, bleed the domestic hot water circuit well: trapped air prevents the sensor from recognizing the actual flow.
