  There is no hot water when turning on the tap, although the heating is working fine.

  Cause: The flow detector activates the hot water mode independently of the heating circuit, so its fault only affects the hot water from the tap.

  Check if the problem occurs in all the taps in the house and not just one, to rule out that it is an issue with the installation and not with the boiler.

  The burner does not start when you request hot water; it remains on standby.

  Cause: Without the flow signal, the control board understands that there is no real consumption and does not allow ignition in that mode.

  Before changing the part, open the tap to the maximum for a few seconds: if it ignites with high flow, the sensor may be dirty instead of broken.

  The water comes out lukewarm or with temperature fluctuations, it does not stabilize at hot.

  Cause: An unstable flow reading due to dirt or wear causes the PCB to modulate the burner erratically following that signal.

  Check the cold water inlet filter of the boiler: if it accumulates limescale, it reduces the actual flow reaching the sensor and causes this effect.

  The fault started right after construction work or a water outage in the area.

  Cause: A supply cut often carries sand or lime into the system, and that first settles in the flow detector as it is a narrow piece with moving parts.

  If the fault coincides with construction work, a water cut, or pipe cleaning, disassemble the detector and check for any visible debris before declaring it faulty.
