• 01

  The boiler does not ignite when the hot water tap is turned on, even though there is normal pressure and flow in the system.

  Cause: The flow meter does not send the flow signal to the control board, so it does not give the order to turn on the burner in DHW mode.

  First, check that the cold water inlet filter is clean: if it is clogged with limescale, the actual flow reaching the sensor decreases, even if it seems normal at the tap.

  A flow fault warning or error code appears on the display.

  Cause: The PCB interprets the lack of signal from the sensor as the absence of water, even though the circuit has sufficient pressure.

  Check the pressure gauge of the boiler before replacing the part: if the pressure is below 1 bar, increase the pressure and repeat the domestic hot water test.

  It does not recognize that there is demand when you open the tap: the burner does not start even with the water running.

  Cause: The internal mechanism of the flow meter (turbine or micro switch) does not close the circuit that alerts the PCB about the flow of water.

  Dismantle the flow meter and turn the turbine by hand: if it is stuck due to scale or does not turn freely, confirm that the fault is there.

  The hot water comes out intermittently, it cuts off by itself and comes back without touching the faucet.

  Cause: A flow meter with the turbine partially blocked gives an intermittent signal instead of a continuous one, and the boiler turns the burner on and off following that irregular signal.

  Note if the cut coincides with pressure drops in the network, for example when another faucet in the house is open at the same time; if so, check the installation before declaring the part faulty.
