  Compare the flow rate of a cold water tap with the same tap in hot water mode; if it only drops in hot water, suspect the sensor.

  You notice that the boiler takes longer to provide hot water each time you turn on the tap.

  Cause: The turbine requires more flow than usual to activate the contact, typical of a worn detector.

  Turn the tap on forcefully and suddenly; if the delay improves significantly, the sensitivity of the detector is failing.

  With the hot water tap fully open, the boiler does not start the burner to heat it.

  Cause: Since no flow signal is received from the detector, the control unit does not activate the DHW mode.

  Try fully opening the tap for a few seconds; if it still doesn't start, the fault points to the detector rather than the electronics.

  The boiler starts heating domestic hot water even though no taps are open in the house.

  Cause: The detector may indicate a false flow due to a seized turbine or a deteriorated internal magnet.

  Close all the domestic hot water taps and see if it continues to start; rule out a real leak before replacing the part.
