  There is no hot water or it takes a long time to heat up.

  Cause: If the flow detector takes time to signal or gives a weak signal, the boiler delays the burner ignition in DHW mode.

  Time how long it takes to heat the water and compare it with the usual; a delay of several seconds indicates insufficient flow in the sensor.

• 02

  The boiler does not ignite the burner when a hot water tap is opened and remains in standby.

  Cause: Without the water flow signal, the PCB does not receive the command to start in DHW mode even though the other components are ready.

  Before changing the part, check that there is no aerator or faucet filter obstructed that reduces the flow at the faucet.

  The production of hot water is interrupted and resumes on its own, with the boiler turning on and off repeatedly.

  Cause: An intermittent flow signal causes the control board to interpret that the demand comes and goes, and it turns the burner on and off accordingly.

  Note if the cuts coincide with the use of another faucet in the house; if so, check the overall pressure first before replacing the part.

  The fault is more frequent in winter, with cold water, than in summer.

  Cause: With colder and harder water, the scale precipitates earlier inside the sensor, and this clogs the turbine or the detection mechanism sooner.

  If you notice that it worsens in the cold months, check the condition of the turbine before replacing the entire part: sometimes it is enough to clean it if it is not completely seized.
