  When opening the hot water tap, the boiler does not ignite the burner.

  Cause: The detector does not send the water flow signal that the PCB needs to start.

  Check that the flow at the tap is normal, so as not to confuse a network pressure issue with the detector.

  There is no water flow signal on the PCB even though the tap has been open for a while.

  Cause: The internal sensor does not detect water movement, either due to mechanical blockage or a fault in the detector itself.

  Check that the 4-pin connector is properly seated and free of corrosion before considering the detector faulty.

• 03

  The detector does not send a signal to the PCB, and the boiler does not provide domestic hot water.

  Cause: Without the signal from the sensor, the PCB does not distinguish a real demand for domestic hot water and does not command the ignition.

  Try opening the tap with high and low flow: if it only turns on with high flow, there may be dirt in the mechanism rather than an electrical fault.

  The boiler takes too long to provide hot water or delivers lukewarm water.

  Cause: If the flow is around the minimum triggering point of the detector, the signal arrives late or intermittently, and the burner modulates poorly.

  Measure the actual flow rate of the tap with a container and stopwatch to confirm that it exceeds the minimum required by the boiler.
