  When opening the hot water tap, nothing happens: no burner noise or anything.

  Cause: The flow detector does not sense the flow and does not send the ignition command to the control board.

  Check that the flow at the tap is normal before looking at the sensor, to rule out a network pressure issue.

  The boiler is locking out with a code related to water or the hydraulic circuit.

  Cause: Without flow signal, the PCB interprets that there is no circulation and blocks for safety even though the circuit is full.

  Check that there are no leaks or air in the DHW circuit before replacing the sensor.

• 03

  The hot water arrives, but with less pressure and takes longer to heat up.

  Cause: If the internal mechanism is partially obstructed, it only activates the signal with high flow rates, leaving out the normal flow rates.

  Check or clean the cold water inlet filter before the sensor, as limescale tends to accumulate there.

• 04

  The problem occurs intermittently, without a clear pattern.

  Cause: A degraded internal contact due to use provides an unstable signal according to vibration or small flow variations.

  Note the conditions under which it fails (time, flow rate, water temperature) to see if it matches a mechanical pattern.
