  The boiler does not produce hot water when the tap is opened, but it works well for heating.

  Cause: The flow meter sends the signal to the control board to switch to domestic hot water mode; if it doesn't arrive, the boiler does not respond.

  Make sure the tap is fully open and check that there is no flow restrictor preventing the necessary flow.

  The hot water comes out intermittently, rising and falling for no apparent reason.

  Cause: Dirt or limescale in the turbine causes the sensor to detect the water flow irregularly.

  Before replacing it, bleed the circuit and check the inlet filter; the scale in the flow meter may be due to a dirty filter.

  The boiler tries to ignite, but it does not produce hot water.

  Cause: Without the flow meter signal, the PCB does not allow the burner to ignite in domestic hot water mode, even though everything else is ready.

  If your model has a service menu, check if the flow rate is displayed as 0 with the tap open; this will confirm the fault without disassembling anything.

  After not using the boiler for a while, the hot water takes longer to come out or doesn't come at all.

  Cause: The turbine can become stuck due to scale after a period of inactivity, as happens with other moving parts.

  Perform several quick openings and closings of the tap before discarding the part: this may free the stuck turbine and confirm if the problem is mechanical.
