  The hot water flows well for a while and then stops without turning off the tap.

  Cause: The flow meter loses the water signal during use, usually due to a dirty turbine that intermittently stops.

  Check if the cut coincides with a drop in pressure in the water network before attributing it to the flow meter.

  It is necessary to open and close the tap several times for the boiler to ignite the domestic hot water burner.

  Cause: The flow meter sensor needs to detect a constant minimum flow, and if it is partially blocked, it takes time to overcome it.

  Clean or check the cold water inlet filter if it has one; often, limescale accumulates there before reaching the flow meter.

  The flow of hot water is always low, while the flow of cold water from the same faucet is normal.

  Cause: A partially obstructed flow meter turbine reduces the water flow and affects the electrical signal.

  Compare the flow of cold and hot water at the same faucet; if only the hot water flow is reduced, there may be a blockage in the flow meter.
