  Cause: If the detector intermittently loses and regains the flow signal, the boiler shuts off the burner.

  Check if the mixing tap is close to the minimum flow limit before declaring the detector faulty.

  It is necessary to open the tap a lot for hot water to come out; with low flow, it does not heat.

  Cause: The detector's turbine may be dirty or scaled and may require a higher flow rate to activate.

  Check if the cold water flow from the tap is also weaker, indicating limescale in the system.

  The boiler works well for heating but has a fault only with the domestic hot water.

  Cause: The flow detector only operates in the domestic hot water circuit; a fault here does not affect the heating.

  Confirm that the fault only occurs when requesting hot water and not during heating before purchasing the spare part.
