  The hot water tap takes a while to respond, it comes out cold for a few seconds before heating up.

  Cause: The detector must register the flow before the PCB ignites the burner for domestic hot water.

  Check if the delay changes depending on how much you open the tap: if it varies with the flow rate, point to the detector before any other part.

  In the shower, the hot water suddenly cools down and then heats up again without you having touched the tap.

  Cause: An unstable flow signal causes the boiler to think that the water has stopped and turns off the burner even though it continues to flow.

  Open another hot water tap at the same time and check if the problem occurs again, to rule out a general pressure drop in the system.

  The water flow seems normal, but the boiler does not respond, as if it does not detect that water is passing through.

  Cause: If the internal paddle gets stuck due to scale or dirt, it won't rotate even though the water flows normally.

  Before changing it, bleed a little of the cold water circuit in case there are any remnants that may have settled in the sensor.

  The problem only occurs with domestic hot water; the heating works without issues.

  Cause: The flow detector operates only in the domestic hot water circuit and does not intervene in the heating circuit.

  Verify that the fault always occurs when requesting domestic hot water and never during heating before deciding on the replacement.
