  Cause: Without the flow detector signal, the boiler does not know that there is a demand for domestic hot water and does not start.

  Measure the actual flow rate at the tap and make sure there is no clogged filter or aerator before replacing the part.

  The hot water cuts off and comes back on by itself several times while you shower or wash dishes.

  Cause: The scale or dirt in the internal mechanism of the detector causes intermittent contact losses.

  Disassemble the sensor and check if the moving part rotates freely or is stuck due to limescale.

  With low water pressure, it doesn't heat, but with the tap fully open, it does.

  Cause: The detector requires a minimum flow rate to activate the contact and request the burner ignition.

  Test with the tap fully open and check the inlet pressure and the main filter beforehand.

  There is a slight noise in the pipe when the hot water runs, which wasn't there before.

  Cause: A worn internal paddle can rub or vibrate as water passes through the sensor.

  Check if the noise changes when you open the tap more or less; if it changes with the flow rate, point to the part.
