  You turn on the hot water tap and the boiler does not start the burner, as if it does not detect that water is flowing.

  Cause: The flow detector does not detect sufficient flow and does not send the signal to ignite.

  Open the tap fully and check the actual flow rate; if it is very low, check the inlet filter and the mains pressure.

• 02

  The hot water comes out in bursts, the burner cuts off and reignites several times in a row.

  Cause: The flow fluctuates right at the limit that the detector needs to keep the contact closed.

  Check if the pressure in the system drops when you use another tap or appliance at the same time.

• 03

  The boiler ignites the burner without anyone having opened any tap.

  Cause: The paddle or the micro switch of the detector gets stuck in the 'there is flow' position due to dirt or accumulated limescale.

  Disassemble the detector and manually check that the paddle rotates freely and returns to its resting position by itself.

• 04

  A warning related to low flow appears on the screen even though the tap is open and water is flowing.

  Cause: The internal contacts of the detector oxidize or do not close properly even though the water circulates normally.

  Clean the cold water inlet filter; it is the most common cause of this warning and prevents the need to replace the sensor.
