  With the hot water tap fully open, the flow is weak only when requesting hot water, not with cold water.

  Cause: There is limescale buildup inside the body of the sensor that narrows the water flow.

  Compare the pressure in a cold water tap with that of hot water; if it only decreases in hot water, the restriction is in the sensor.

  Every time you turn on the tap, the burner takes several more seconds to ignite.

  Cause: The detector requires more flow than normal to close the contact, which indicates that the turbine is worn out.

  Open the tap suddenly and at high flow; if the delay is significantly reduced, the part is losing sensitivity.

  The boiler does not enter domestic hot water mode even with the tap fully open, although it works well in heating mode.

  Cause: Without a flow signal from the detector, the control unit does not know that there is a demand for domestic hot water and does not activate the burner.

  Test more than one tap in the house; if none of them activates the domestic hot water mode, first isolate whether it is the sensor or the control board.

  From time to time, the boiler starts heating water on its own, without anyone having opened a tap.

  Cause: The detector may get stuck indicating water flow even when there is none, due to wear or dirt in the turbine.

  Close all the hot water shut-off valves and check if it still starts; first rule out a leak in the installation.
