The plate heat exchanger of the Fagor Super Compact FE 24E N boiler transfers heat from the primary circuit to the domestic hot water instantly. When it malfunctions, the water may come out lukewarm or with fluctuating temperature, in addition to reducing the flow of DHW. This component is compatible with the models CE24E, FE24E, FE26E, FE27E, FE30E, and FEB24AR, among others. It is advisable to replace it if you notice issues with the temperature or flow of hot water.

Can't see your model or have questions? The printed reference takes precedence. How to check it · Send us a photo via WhatsApp.
How to check if it is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the plate heat exchanger resolves
The plate heat exchanger transfers heat to the domestic hot water. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
When disassembling the heat exchanger, a screw strips or breaks and cannot be removed completely.
Cause: The galvanized screws have been tightened for years and get stuck due to heat and humidity.
Apply penetrating oil and let it sit for a few minutes; if it doesn't give, use a screw extractor before continuing to tighten.
- 02
After installing the heat exchanger, water is leaking again from the side where it is attached.
Cause: If any screws are missing or not all are tightened, the gasket does not seal properly.
Check that all the screws are in place and tighten them in a cross pattern, gradually and evenly.
- 03
A screw is missing when assembling the heat exchanger, and the assembly cannot be closed properly.
Cause: It is common to lose screws during disassembly or to replace them with others that do not fit.
Count how many screws the model has before requesting the part.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
