Baxi Roca Laura Water Pressure Switch (XP600, ref. 122450050)
Water pressure switch for the heating circuit, with manufacturer code XP600; the component manufacturer is not listed on the label. It operates based on water pressure, with contacts set in a range of 0.2 to 1.2 bar. It is replaced when it loses calibration or the contact fails, and the boiler does not respond to the actual water pressure.

How to check if ref. 122450050 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Locate the reference printed on the body of the pressure switch you have installed: it should indicate 122450050.
- Check your boiler model on the nameplate and look for it in the list of compatible models on this page.
- Compare the connections and the body with the original part before installing.
- If you have any doubts, send us a photo of the screen printing via WhatsApp and we'll confirm it for you before you purchase.
Symptoms and faults resolved by pressure switch 122450050
The pressure switch controls the air or water pressure to authorize operation. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
The boiler does not start even though the heating circuit has the correct pressure on the gauge.
Cause: The heating water pressure switch may not close the contact even though the actual pressure is within range.
Check the pressure on the boiler's pressure gauge and, if you have an external one, compare it at the same connection point.
The boiler sometimes locks out due to pressure, with no clear relation to having filled or bled the circuit.
Cause: A pressure switch with an incorrect reading can cause lockouts that do not match the actual heating pressure status.
Keep a record of when it locks and compare it with the pressure indicated by the pressure gauge at that moment.
The behavior of the boiler does not change when the pressure of the heating circuit is manually increased or decreased.
Cause: If the contact does not change state when the pressure varies, the part is not performing its function even if the circuit is fine.
With the boiler off, slightly increase the pressure by filling the circuit and observe if the behavior changes when it restarts.
The installation has no visible leaks, but the boiler continues to show a heating pressure fault.
Cause: Once a leak is ruled out, a pressure switch that doesn't switch properly is the most common cause of this persistent lockout.
Also check the heating expansion vessel, because a ruptured bladder can mimic a similar pressure fault.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
