The Saunier Duval Semia Condens 30-A combines 6.0-25.0 kW of heating at 80/60 °C with 6.0-30.0 kW for domestic hot water, using natural gas. At 50/30 °C, the useful heating range is from 6.3 to 26.5 kW. Its higher capacity compared to Thelia 25 allows for a comparison of the household demand without confusing heating power with sanitary power. The maximum factory setting for heating is 18 kW, and its adjustment is intended for professionals.

Warm Start prepares the domestic hot water production to reduce waiting time. The capacity should be read with its conditions: 17.4 l/min at ΔT 25 K, 14.5 l/min of specific flow at ΔT 30 K, and 12.4 l/min at ΔT 35 K. The domestic hot water limiter is 10 l/min, different from those tests. The pressure, the mixture, and the inlet temperature determine the outcome at the taps; no water reserve is provided to cover any simultaneous consumption.

The primary heat exchanger is made of aluminum, with a declared modulation of 1:5 and a seasonal efficiency of 94%. This H-ES variant only accepts natural gas and does not have a conversion to propane. The reference 12016088 is without control: the regulation packs have different codes. MiGo Link is optional, and the A+ system class requires the indicated control combination, without automatically attributing it to the offered unit.

The body measuring 740 x 418 x 300 mm weighs 32.3 kg net and 36.8 kg with water. The bottom of 30 cm must be checked along with the access spaces: 300 mm above and below and 600 mm in front for operation; a cabinet door requires the separation indicated in the plan. The 8-liter tank is for heating. In terms of electricity, the maximum consumption is 110 W, powered at 230 V and with IPX4D protection.

Does the Semia Condens 30-A work for a house of 160 m²?

If a loss of 80 W/m² is assumed, 160 m² require 12.8 kW. This hypothetical load is within your 6.0-25.0 kW output at 80/60 °C with natural gas. It is not a certified surface: the actual loss must be calculated, emitters checked, and the installation adjusted. In an area that only requires 4 kW, the demand falls below the minimum and can cause starts and stops. The 30 in the name refers to the maximum capacity of domestic hot water, not to 30 kW of heating under those conditions.

Can it maintain two showers of 8 l/min at the same time?

Two showers of 8 l/min add up to 16 l/min. With cold water at 10 °C and service at 40 °C, the temperature difference is 30 K: the declared specific flow rate is 14.5 l/min, which is lower than that demand. Additionally, the manual specifies a domestic hot water limiter of 10 l/min. The 17.4 l/min in the technical sheet corresponds to a temperature difference of 25 K and is not a guarantee for two hot showers. Pressure, mixing, and inlet temperature must be checked; for sustained simultaneous consumption, it is advisable to consider a solution with greater capacity or storage.

Is Warm Start a storage tank that holds water for showers?

Warm Start prepares the production of hot water and reduces the waiting time when requesting domestic hot water. It should not be confused with a reserve sanitary accumulator: the diagram of this mixed boiler shows a plate heat exchanger, and the 8-liter tank belongs to heating. Those 8 liters do not supply the taps. Warm Start also does not increase the continuous flow nor does it prevent the wait caused by a long pipe; therefore, it is not suitable for promising two simultaneous showers.

Does the Semia 30 fit in a kitchen cabinet with a depth of 30 cm?

The body measures 740 x 418 x 300 mm, but a cabinet of exactly 300 mm leaves no margin for the door. The plan specifies 5 mm in front of a cabinet door and 600 mm of frontal access for working, as well as 300 mm above and below. Laterally, it allows for 0 mm of mounting, although disassembling one side requires 50 mm. Connections and drainage must remain accessible. The net weight is 32.3 kg and with water 36.8 kg; the support must be verified for the load in service.

Can the Semia Condens 30-A be used with propane?

Not for this reference H-ES: it is exclusively intended for natural gas G20 and the technical sheet indicates that conversion to propane is not available. It should not be purchased assuming that a generic adjustment or kit will convert it. If the home uses LPG, a variant expressly authorized for that fuel must be chosen and verified with a qualified installer. The external similarity to another boiler does not demonstrate the same certification.

Does reference 12016088 include MiSet or mobile control?

The reference 12016088 identifies the boiler without control. The sets with wired MiSet, MiSet Radio, or SRT50/2 have different codes; they are not considered included for sharing the name Semia.
