The ecoTEC exclusive VMW 36CF elevates the domestic hot water service to 36.4 kW and 17.4 l/min specific at ΔT 30 K, maintaining the 382 mm depth of the 30CF. In heating, it operates between 3.0 and 25.0 kW at 80/60 °C. It is an alternative to increase sanitary capacity without switching to the deeper body of the 43CF. With sensoCOMFORT radio and myVaillant. Installation not included. VAT and mainland shipping included.

The VMW 36CF occupies the same space as the 30CF, but adds capacity for both heating and domestic hot water. It delivers from 3.0 to 25.0 kW at 80/60 °C and from 3.4 to 27.2 kW at 50/30 °C. Maintaining a minimum of 3.0 kW is important when the home requires little heat, although the final choice requires calculating the heat losses.

Its 36.4 kW of domestic hot water translates to 17.4 l/min specific at ΔT 30 K or 20.9 l/min declared at ΔT 25 K. The commercial orientation from two bathrooms, a toilet, and a kitchen does not mean opening them all at once. In the case of two showers of 8 l/min at ΔT 30 K, there is only a testing margin of 1.4 l/min, which does not guarantee the result with colder inlet water or other taps open.

Micro-accumulation helps with the start-up of the domestic hot water service, while the factory limiter of 11.7 l/min regulates a different parameter from the specific flow rate. Before choosing it for simultaneous uses, pressure, available flow, mixing, and temperature should be checked. It is not a boiler with a large domestic hot water reserve.

The body measures 720 x 440 x 382 mm and weighs 41 kg. The air connection and exhaust of the unit is 60/100 mm and the gas connection measures 15 mm. The maximum declared electrical consumption is 61 W for heating and 113 W for domestic hot water; these figures describe auxiliary electricity, not thermal power or gas consumption.

What to check before installing this boiler

The choice of equipment does not replace the inspection of the installation by a qualified professional.

  1. Confirm the model and commercial reference, the type of gas, and the supply configuration in the manufacturer's documentation.
  2. Ask a qualified installer to assess the heating and domestic hot water demand; compare measured flow rates at the same temperature difference.
  3. Check dimensions, connections, flue gas evacuation, condensate drainage, and controls compatible with the existing installation.
  4. Confirm the included accessories and the delivery time before scheduling the installation. The online purchase of the equipment does not include installation or commissioning.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions: calderas de condensación 125834628

Is the exclusive 36CF suitable for a house of 180 m²?
It is not decided solely by the surface area. As a conditioned example, 180 m² with losses of 80 W/m² require 14.4 kW, within its 3.0-25.0 kW heating range at 80/60 °C. The actual calculation must take into account climate, insulation, ventilation, and emitters. Its minimum of 3.0 kW also matters in transitional periods and with closed areas. Choosing 36CF instead of 30CF may respond to a higher demand for domestic hot water, not necessarily to more square meters.
Does the 36CF have enough capacity for two showers at the same time?
Two showers of 8 l/min with an inlet temperature of 10 °C and a usage temperature of 40 °C require 16 l/min at a ΔT of 30 K. The 36CF specifies 17.4 l/min specific: it exceeds this example by 1.4 l/min, but does not guarantee two actual showers. It is necessary to check pressure, available water, winter temperature, and other consumption. The limiter of 11.7 l/min, the specific flow rate, and the mixed flow rate are not equivalent. The limiter should not be removed to force the performance.
Does the 36CF accumulate water for family consumption peaks?
It features micro-accumulation, which improves the initial response, but it should not be treated as a large-capacity domestic hot water tank. The document for this family does not specify integrated reserve liters. In prolonged or consecutive consumption, its capacity of 36.4 kW of domestic hot water and the flow rate under real conditions are taken into account. If you need to service multiple bathrooms with reserve, a compatible accumulation solution and its volume should be studied independently.
Can I replace a 30CF with a 36CF using the same space?
Both measure 720 x 440 x 382 mm and weigh 41 kg, but these similarities do not guarantee a direct replacement. Connections, gas, exhaust, drainage, and supports must be checked. The manual requires 5 mm of lateral space, 180 mm of bottom space, and 500 mm of front service space. The upper clearance depends on the duct: 165 or 248 mm for 60/100 according to the plan, 220 mm for 80/80, and 276 mm for 80/125.
What commitments are involved in switching from exclusive 36CF to 43CF?
The 43CF increases from 25.0 to 33.2 kW maximum in heating at 80/60 °C and from 17.4 to 20.4 l/min specific for domestic hot water at ΔT 30 K. The minimum heating also increases from 3.0 to 4.2 kW, the depth from 382 to 450 mm, and the weight from 41 to 46 kg. Its air intake and exhaust connection changes from 60/100 to 80/125 mm. It's not just about higher flow: it requires checking the space, installation, and minimum demand.
Does 36.4 kW indicate a high electricity consumption?
No: 36.4 kW is the thermal power for domestic hot water. The maximum electrical power in the manual is 61 W for heating and 113 W for domestic hot water; in standby, it is less than 2 W. Electricity depends on the time and mode of operation, and gas depends on thermal demand and actual operation. The energy estimates shown by the system are not billing measurements and do not replace the meter.
