Fagor Gas Valve Contract Mini CE 30 E SIT Ref. MU0809100

How to check if ref. MU0809100 is the part for your boiler
The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference MU0809100. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Síntomas que requieren diagnóstico en la válvula de gas MU0809100
The gas valve regulates and modulates the gas flow to the burner. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler tries to ignite but fails to do so, or it doesn't even attempt to.
Cause: The gas valve is not allowing gas to flow to the burner, and the boiler is not detecting the flame.
First, check that gas is reaching the inlet of the gas valve and that there is power at the connector during the ignition attempt.
- 02
The boiler ignites for a moment and the flame goes out by itself within a few seconds.
Cause: The valve closes prematurely or does not keep the passage open, and the boiler shuts down for safety due to not detecting the flame.
Check the flame detection electrode and its wiring before assuming that the gas valve is faulty, as a dirty electrode can cause the same issue.
- 03
The flame rises and falls for no apparent reason, as if the gas is arriving in fits and starts.
Cause: The internal mechanism of the gas valve does not regulate the gas flow stably.
Check the gas pressure at the boiler's inlet with a manometer before replacing the gas valve, to ensure that it is not a supply issue.
- 04
The boiler locks up when trying to ignite, showing hardly any signs of life.
Cause: If the gas valve does not work, the burner does not receive gas and the safety system immediately locks the boiler.
Note the fault code or the number of flashes of the error indicator before disassembling anything; it will indicate whether the lockout is due to a lack of flame and not for another reason.
Códigos de error Fagor que requieren diagnóstico
| Code | Fault | Comprobaciones técnicas |
|---|---|---|
| F1 | The boiler does not ignite because the flame is not established. | The gas valve may be faulty or blocked, preventing it from opening or modulating during startup. This causes insufficient gas to reach the burner to ignite the flame. Check if there is power to the coils during the ignition attempt and verify that the valve opens by checking the pressure and flow in the manifold. |
| F6 | There is a residual flame when the burner is off. | If the gas valve does not close properly, it may allow gas to pass through, maintaining a residual flame. Check that the valve closes tightly when the boiler is off and rule out any false ionization signal. |
| F10 | Problem controlling or closing the gas valve. | There may be a fault in the gas valve or in its control circuit (coils or relays) that prevents it from opening or closing properly. Check the continuity of the coils, that the PCB sends the correct voltage, and that the flame goes out when the closure is commanded. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
