SIT Gas Valve for Fagor Eco Compact FE 20E 2N

Stock · 1 unit

If your boiler does not ignite, shows flame lockouts, or modulates improperly, you may need the SIT gas valve for Baxi Roca Eco Compact FE 20E 2N. This valve regulates and allows the flow of gas to the burner, acting according to the commands of the PCB. When it fails, you may experience faults such as F1, F6, or F10. It is compatible with several models in the Baxi Roca Eco Compact range, including FE-20E/2B and FE-24E. It is advisable to replace it upon noticing these symptoms to avoid further issues.

Guide

How to check if ref. MU0809100 is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference MU0809100. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the gas valve MU0809100 resolves.

The gas valve regulates and modulates the gas flow to the burner. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The boiler takes several seconds to ignite, as if it struggles to light the flame.

Cause: The gas valve does not open fully or opens with a delay, so less gas than necessary reaches the burner on the first attempt.

Measure the gas pressure at the boiler inlet before changing the gas valve: low pressure in the installation causes the same delay.

  • 02

The boiler locks out due to a lack of flame as soon as it tries to ignite.

Cause: If the gas valve does not allow enough gas to pass, the flame detector does not detect ionization and the control board cuts off the attempt.

Check that the filter or the shut-off valve before the gas valve are not dirty or blocked; a clogged filter restricts gas flow just like a faulty valve.

  • 03

The ignition is irregular: sometimes the boiler starts well and other times it does not.

Cause: An intermittent fault in the internal mechanism or the coil of the gas valve causes the gas flow to vary from one start to another.

Test several consecutive ignitions and note if the fault depends on the time the boiler has been stopped; this helps to distinguish an electrical fault from a mechanical one before purchasing the part.

  • 04

The boiler starts up well when cold but fails after running for a while.

Cause: With the valve already hot, the internal mechanism can seize up or lose tightness, affecting the gas flow.

Check if the fault is related to the fan or the pump, not just the gas valve, before ruling out other components that may also fail when hot.

Fault codes for Fagor that this part resolves.

CodeFaultDiagnosis and solution
F1Lockout due to ignition fault (flame not established). The faulty/stuck gas valve may not open or modulate at startup, and insufficient gas may reach for ionization; check voltage in coils during the ignition attempt and pressure/flow in the ramp, ensuring the valve opens.
F6Flame detection with the burner at rest (parasitic flame). If the gas valve does not close hermetically, it allows gas to pass and a residual flame persists; check the valve's closure/sealing when stopped and rule out a false ionization signal.
F10Fault in the control or closure of the gas valve.Fault in the valve or its control circuit (coils/relays) prevents proper opening/closing; check coil continuity, control voltage from the PCB, and ensure the flame extinguishes when closure is commanded.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
