How to check if the reference 0020135131 is the part for your boiler.
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
Symptoms and faults that the combustion chambers 0020135131 solve.
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
Stops due to overheating after a few minutes of operation
Cause: Dirty or blocked primary heat exchanger coils
Check the ∆T supply/return, correct pressure, and bleed; visually inspect the coils and clean according to the manual.
- 02
Boiling/kettling noises in the boiler
Cause: Lime and sludge deposits in the primary circuit
Water quality review, internal cleaning of the heat exchanger and the filter of the hydraulic block.
- 03
Fault codes F.23/F.24 with operational pump
Cause: Heat exchanger degraded due to dirt
Force the pump to 100% (D.014=5) and execute P.0; if ∆T remains high, the primary is affected.
- 04
Dripping or overflow in the condensate siphon
Cause: Condensate outlet of the heat exchanger partially or completely blocked.
Disassemble and clean the siphon and tube; when cleaning the primary, direct the rinse towards the siphon.
- 05
Failed starts with F.28/F.29 without a gas cause
Cause: Accumulation of condensate in the chamber due to poor drainage
Check the free drainage of condensate from the heat exchanger and the absence of siphoning in the discharge.
Fault codes from Vaillant that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| F.20 | Safety disconnection: temperature limiter (STB) by NTC | Bleed the system, check the thermal connection of the NTC for supply and return and circulation. If the ∆T remains high, clean the coils of the heat exchanger; replace the assembly if it does not recover thermal exchange. |
| F.22 | Safety shutdown: lack of water | Fill up to ~1.2–1.5 bar when cold and bleed (P.0). Check the pressure sensor and pump. If it reappears along with a high ∆T, check for blockage in the heat exchanger. |
| F.23 | Safety disconnection: temperature difference too high | Check the pump (connections and level D.014), air in the circuit, filter of the hydraulic block, and flow rate. Clean/replace the heat exchanger if the cause is internal contamination. |
| F.24 | Safety shutdown: temperature rise too fast | Internal bleeding (P.0), installation pressure, and check valve. If the rapid increase persists due to poor heat exchange, clean or replace the primary heat exchanger. |
| F.25 | Combustion gas temperature too high | Check the flue gas and ventilation path, bleed and circulation. A dirty heat exchanger reduces the exchange and raises Tgases; clean or replace if necessary. |
| F.28 | Start failure/failed ignition | In addition to gas/ignition, check for obstruction in the condensate pipe; if the siphon or the condensate outlet of the heat exchanger is blocked, it may prevent startup. Unclog and verify the drainage of the heat exchanger. |
| F.29 | Fault in operation/failed ignition | Check the gas recirculation, grounding, and condensate pipe. Blockages in the condensate outlet of the heat exchanger can contribute to flame extinction. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
