How to check if ref. 95000104 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Locate the reference printed on the body of the filling key you have installed: it should indicate 95000104.
- Check your boiler model on the nameplate and look for it in the list of compatible models on this page.
- Compare the connections and the body with the original part before installing.
- If you have any doubts, send us a photo of the screen printing via WhatsApp and we'll confirm it for you before you purchase.
Symptoms and faults resolved by filling valve 95000104
The filling valve allows you to refill the heating circuit with water. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
The boiler pressure does not hold and needs to be refilled every few days.
Cause: When the internal shut-off of the valve does not seat properly, it allows water to pass continuously and the pressure never stabilizes.
Close the valve completely and monitor the pressure gauge for a couple of hours: if the pressure continues to move, it points to the valve.
When trying to fill the circuit, the valve does not allow water to pass through.
Cause: Dirt or lime deposits can block the internal passage of the valve, especially in installations with hard water.
Check first that the main valve of the house is open and that the filling hose, if present, is not kinked.
Moisture or droplets are noticeable around the knob of the valve.
Cause: The wear of the stem seal over the years allows water to leak outside even though the internal closure continues to function.
Dry the area, tighten the gland nut slightly, and check after a few hours to see if moisture reappears before replacing the part.
The knob turns very hard or gets stuck halfway through.
Cause: The internal mechanism of these valves seizes up with lime when they go a long time without being operated.
Try moving it gently in small increments, without forcing it, before concluding that the mechanism is seized.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
