Common symptoms and faults

The boiler display shows 0 for pressure or does not indicate anything, even though there is water in the circuit.
Cause: The sensor does not send a signal to the PCB, which interprets that there is no pressure.
If you have a mechanical manometer, compare its reading with that of the display before changing the sensor.

The boiler is locking out due to low pressure, even though you have filled the circuit to 1-1.5 bar.
Cause: The sensor sends an incorrect value to the control board, which cuts off the start for safety reasons even though the actual pressure is correct.
Bleed the air from the radiators and the circuit, as trapped air can cause this warning.

The pressure on the display fluctuates, especially when starting the heating.
Cause: The sensor loses accuracy with heat and sends incorrect values to the PCB in relation to the actual water pressure.
Record the cold and hot readings during a couple of cycles; if there is a sudden jump and it does not match with a mechanical manometer, the problem may be in the sensor.

The pressure reading remains fixed, it does not change even if you bleed a radiator or refill the circuit.
Cause: The sensor does not transmit real pressure variations to the control board.
Check the three-pin connector of the sensor: make sure it is not loose, corroded, or damp before considering it faulty.
