3 Bar Overpressure Safety Valve 1/2 Fagor (N57G007M2)

10 €VAT includedIn stock · 5 units

Orkli safety valve, set at 3 bar, 1/2" male threaded connection, factory-installed in Fagor boilers of the CE, FA, FE, FEB, and FEE series. It releases pressure from the hydraulic circuit when the set point is exceeded, protecting the boiler and the expansion vessel. It should be replaced if it continuously drips, does not activate at 3 bar, or becomes stuck.

Guide

How to check if ref. N57G007M2 is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Locate the reference printed on the body of the safety valve you have installed: it should indicate N57G007M2.
  2. Check your boiler model on the nameplate and look for it in the list of compatible models on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and the body with the original part before installing.
  4. If you have any doubts, send us a photo of the screen printing via WhatsApp and we'll confirm it for you before you purchase.
Diagnosis

Symptoms and faults resolved by safety valve N57G007M2

The safety valve releases pressure when the circuit exceeds its set point. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Water is leaking from a small tube under the boiler even though the system is at normal working pressure.

Cause: The valve seat does not close properly and allows water to drip constantly even though there is no actual overpressure.

Check the pressure on the gauge: if it is below 1.5-2 bar when cold, the dripping may be coming from a discharged expansion vessel and not from the valve.

The boiler gradually loses pressure and the circuit needs to be refilled every few days.

Cause: The water escaping through the valve seat goes down the drain without forming a large stream, so the pressure drops without an apparent cause.

Follow the drain pipe from the valve to the floor or the drain: if it's wet or has lime deposits, the leak is coming from there and not from another leak in the circuit.

The circuit reaches high pressure and the valve neither releases water nor opens.

Cause: The internal mechanism can become jammed due to lime or dirt and does not release the spring when it reaches the set point.

With the boiler cold and without risk pressure, gently pull the manual bleed lever to see if it opens and closes normally.

Water is leaking constantly right below the boiler, in the area where the valve is mounted.

Cause: If the leak is continuous and not only at times of maximum pressure, the valve closure is no longer tight.

Dry the area well, manually bleed the valve once, and observe if the dripping stops or continues: if it continues, confirm that the leak is the valve.

When the water heats up and the pressure rises, water starts to come out of the valve without reaching the marked 3 bar.

Cause: A weakened spring or dirt on the seat causes it to trigger before reaching the actual set point.

Note the exact pressure at which it starts leaking by looking at the pressure gauge, to confirm if it triggers below 3 bar before replacing it.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
