3-Way Valve Assembly Fagor FE-24NOX/1 Ref. AS0003112
The Fagor FE NOX boilers use the Fagor FE-24NOX/1 three-way valve assembly, which is responsible for switching the water between the heating circuit and the domestic hot water circuit. If this valve fails, you will notice that you have hot water but no heating, or vice versa, or that both circuits are mixing. It is compatible with models such as the FE 24 NOX, FE 24 TC, and FEE 24 TC, among others in the same range. It is recommended to replace it when these water distribution problems are detected.

How to check if the ref. AS0003112 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference AS0003112. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the AS0003112 three-way valve resolves.
The 3-way valve diverts water between heating and domestic hot water. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not switch between heating and domestic hot water, and nothing is heard moving in the area of the gas valve.
Cause: The actuator (the valve motor) does not rotate, so the stem remains stationary in the same position.
With the boiler off and cold, manually move the stem if accessible: if it is difficult to move or does not move, confirm the fault before purchasing the complete assembly.
- 02
Water is leaking right below where the body and the actuator meet.
Cause: The joint between the hydraulic body and the actuator loses tightness with use.
Gently tighten the mounting screws of the actuator before reporting the leak due to a fault in the part.
- 03
A strange buzzing or chirping sound is heard when it should switch between circuits.
Cause: The gear motor of the actuator is worn out and is forcing without moving the mechanism smoothly.
Listen for whether the buzzing ends with a click at the end of the stroke; if it keeps buzzing continuously, point to the part.
- 04
The boiler distributes the service poorly: it heats domestic hot water when you have requested heating, or vice versa.
Cause: The stem does not reach the correct position and leaves the water distribution unbalanced between the two circuits.
First, check that the thermostat or the control is not incorrectly configured regarding the service priority before replacing the gas valve.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
