• 01

  The screen does not turn on and the rotary controls do nothing, as if the panel were dead.

  Cause: The panel, which includes the display and controls, may have an internal fault that prevents it from functioning properly.

  Check that the boiler is receiving power and that no fuses or the main switch have tripped before considering that the PCB is faulty.

  The OFF/MAX rotary controls turn but do not change anything in the boiler.

  Cause: The potentiometer or encoder behind the control may be worn out or dirty, which prevents it from transmitting the position to the electronics.

  Turn the knob several times from end to end and see if it responds at any point; if it does, the knob may be dirty and not completely faulty.

  The RESET button does nothing when pressed while the boiler is locked.

  Cause: If the reset button on the panel does not close the contact, the signal to unlock the boiler does not reach the control board.

  Cut the power to the boiler for about 30 seconds and turn it back on; if it unlocks, the problem is with the reset button and not with the original fault.

  The icons on the screen appear dim or partially visible, although the panel does respond to the controls.

  Cause: This could be a problem with the LCD itself or its backlighting, which is independent of the control part of the panel.

  Look at the screen from different angles and with the room dark; if the icons appear faint but visible, the problem is more with the LCD than with the PCB.
