Honeywell Main PCB Baxi Roca Eco 3 Compact 240 FI Ref. 5680410
When you turn on the hot water tap or activate the heating, the Honeywell Baxi Roca Eco 3 Compact 240 FI Main PCB is responsible for controlling the ignition and modulation of the burner, as well as the pump and safety features of the boiler. If this part fails, you may notice that the boiler does not start, locks out, or exhibits erratic behavior, and you might encounter faults such as E35 or E25. This PCB is compatible with several models from the Eco 3 Compact range, including the 240 Fi, 240 i, and others. It should be replaced when these faults occur or if the boiler stops functioning properly.

How to check if the ref. 5680410 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 5680410. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the PCB 5680410 resolves.
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not ignite any pilot light or display, as if it is not receiving power.
Cause: The main PCB distributes power to the other components; if it fails, the entire boiler becomes inoperable.
First, check the fuse on the PCB and ensure that 230V is reaching its input before considering it faulty.
- 02
The burner starts up for a moment and then shuts off, repeatedly attempting to ignite.
Cause: The PCB manages the ignition sequence and the flame signal; if its control electronics fail, it aborts the cycle for safety reasons.
Check that the ionization electrode is clean and properly connected before attributing it to the PCB.
- 03
Different faults or error codes appear without a clear pattern, and sometimes it resets by itself.
Cause: An intermittent fault in the PCB causes erratic readings from sensors and relays.
Note the exact code displayed by the boiler and repeat the fault to rule out that it is a specific sensor and not the PCB.
- 04
The thermostat or the remote control cannot get the boiler to respond.
Cause: The PCB is the one that receives and processes those commands; if the microprocessor or its outputs fail, there is no response.
Bypass the demand directly at the terminals of the PCB to confirm that the fault is not in the thermostat or its wiring.
Fault codes for Baxi Roca that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| E35 | Parasite flame (flame error). | The main PCB can generate a false flame signal due to a fault in the ionisation/ground circuit. Check earth continuity between the PCB (connector X4) and terminal block, the condition/position of the electrode, and if the issue persists with correct wiring/electrode, test/replace the PCB. |
| E25 | Safety activation due to lack of water circulation (likely blocked pump). | In addition to hydraulic causes, a defective PCB may not power the pump or may incorrectly read the flow NTC, causing a lockout. Check the power supply to the pump from the control board, read the NTC at the PCB terminals, and if the hydraulic part is ruled out, replace/test the PCB. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
