PCB Boiler Warmhaus EWA 24 - Bertelli & Partners
The control PCB of the Warmhaus EWA 24 boiler manages the ignition, burner modulation, pump, and system safety features. When it fails, the boiler may not start, become locked, or exhibit erratic behavior. Users may notice issues such as fault codes E62, E77, E78, E79, or E80. This model is compatible with the Warmhaus EWA range, including the EWA 24 among others. It is recommended to replace the PCB when these symptoms occur to restore the proper functioning of the boiler.

How to check if the part number 000019 is the piece for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 000019. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the PCB 000019 resolves.
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
It does not ignite or spark, even though gas and water are reaching it.
Cause: The PCB does not send the ignition signal to the electrode or the opening command to the gas valve.
Check that the ignition electrode and its cable are in good condition before replacing the PCB.
- 02
The boiler starts but locks out after a few seconds with a fault code.
Cause: The electronics stop the cycle when detecting an anomaly in the signals from other components.
Note the exact display code to rule out that the fault comes from a sensor or a pressure switch, not from the PCB.
- 03
The indicators are blinking strangely and the boiler does not respond to anything.
Cause: A hang of the control microprocessor prevents the PCB from executing commands.
Cut the power to the boiler for 5 minutes and then restore it to rule out a temporary hang-up before replacing it.
- 04
The boiler heats but in an erratic manner, changing power without reason.
Cause: The modulation of the burner is managed by the PCB; a fault in it causes variations that do not correspond to the actual demand.
Check that the temperature sensor is not giving erratic readings before blaming the PCB.
Fault codes for Warmhaus that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| E62 | Calibration request. | The PCB has been replaced or is without a service/programming key and the boiler requires recalibration; check in the TsP menu that P15/P31/P32/P33 are set to default and that the service key of the PCB is present before executing Auto Calibration. |
| E77 | Absolute current values reached. | The combustion/modulation control on the PCB may be out of tolerance; rule out installation/ionisation/grounding and, if it persists, check condensation and connections to the board or replace the PCB and recalibrate (Auto Calibration). |
| E78 | Maximum regulation current value reached. | The control electronics of the PCB can saturate the regulation loop; check wiring/ground/electrode and, if it persists, inspect the board (condensation, parameters) or replace it and perform Auto Calibration. |
| E79 | Minimum regulation current value reached. | Fault in the electronic modulation/combustion control of the PCB; rule out combustion causes and, if it persists, check connections to the board and parameters, or replace the PCB and recalibrate. |
| E80 | Problem in the electronic driver of the gas valve. | Fault in the valve driver circuit on the PCB; check wiring between the board and the valve and measure control signal; if the wiring/valve are OK, the cause is the board (replace and recalibrate). |
| E89 | Problem in the combustion feedback signal. | The PCB may misinterpret ionisation/return due to an electronic fault; after ruling out electrode/flue/gas and wiring, inspect or replace the board and recalibrate. |
| E90 | Impossible to regulate combustion. | Fault in the control electronics of the PCB among the probable causes; after ruling out combustion issues, check connections/ground and, if it persists, replace the PCB and perform Auto Calibration. |
| E93 | Unable to regulate combustion (temporarily). | The PCB is listed as a possible cause (control failure); after ruling out electrode/draught/gas valve, check the board, parameters (P15, etc.) and perform Auto Calibration or replace the PCB. |
| E94 | Possible low gas pressure or flue gas recirculation. | In addition to combustion causes, the PCB is documented as a possible origin; rule out flue/electrode/gas and, if it continues, check/replace the PCB and recalibrate. |
| E98 | SW fault, error starting the PCB. | Software/start-up error of the PCB; after reset, the indicated solution is to replace the PCB and adjust P15, then execute Auto Calibration. |
| E99 | Generic fault (electronic hardware problem of the boiler). | Hardware fault in the PCB; check power/reset and, if it persists, replace the board and calibrate according to the manual (P15 + Auto Calibration). |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
