Guide

How to check if ref. 101250 is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 101250. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the manometer 101250 solves.

The manometer shows the pressure of the boiler circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The needle of the pressure gauge does not move, regardless of the pressure indicated by the circuit.

Cause: The internal mechanism of the manometer has seized, usually due to scale or dirt that has entered through the connection fitting.

Bleed the circuit a little through the filling tap and check if the threaded fitting of the pressure gauge has any limescale residue; sometimes the blockage is there and not in the pressure gauge.

  • 02

The pressure gauge is stuck at the same value, even if you fill or bleed water.

Cause: The internal tube of the manometer is blocked or broken and no longer responds to actual pressure changes.

Check with the radiator bleed valve if water is actually entering and exiting the circuit; if it responds well while the pressure gauge does not move, the fault is in the pressure gauge.

  • 03

The glass or the dial is broken, scratched, or fogged on the inside, and the reading is not visible.

Cause: A bump, a freeze, or the passage of time have damaged the casing, which in these models is made of thin plastic.

Check if the mechanism moves smoothly by touch beneath the broken glass; if only the outer casing is faulty, also confirm that there is no crack affecting the seal.

  • 04

There is no way to know the pressure of the installation because the pressure gauge does not provide any reliable reading.

Cause: With the damaged mechanism, the circuit may be in perfect condition, but you have no way to verify it.

Check the pressure with a portable manometer or the filling group's manometer if you have one, to confirm that the circuit is fine and that the fault is only with the indicator.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
