Ferroli Domiproject / Domicompact Water Pressure Switch Ref. 39818260
Water pressure switch for Ferroli boilers. It monitors the hydraulic circuit pressure and cuts off ignition if it goes out of the set range (0.2 to 2 bar), protecting the installation. It includes a manual reset button. It is replaced when the boiler locks due to a water pressure fault or if the pressure switch does not reset.

Symptoms and faults resolved by pressure switch 39818260
The pressure switch controls the air or water pressure to authorize operation. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
The boiler stops and you have to press the reset button on the pressure switch for it to start again.
Cause: The water pressure switch interrupts the circuit when it detects that the pressure goes out of the set range, and requires a manual reset after the interruption.
Before resetting, check the pressure on the boiler's pressure gauge and refill the circuit if it's below 1 bar.
The reset button is pressed and does not respond, or it needs to be pressed several times for the boiler to start working again.
Cause: The internal contact of the pressure switch may stick or lose travel and not close even if the pressure is correct.
Bleed the air from the circuit before ruling out the pressure switch: a circuit with air can also prevent the reset.
The display shows a water pressure fault warning even though the pressure gauge indicates normal pressure.
Cause: The pressure switch is not accurately reading the actual pressure of the circuit and sends a cut-off signal that does not match what the pressure gauge indicates.
Compare the reading of the boiler's pressure gauge with an external pressure gauge at the same point before replacing the part.
The boiler repeatedly locks out due to pressure even though the circuit has been refilled several times.
Cause: If after filling the circuit it still locks, it is usually because the pressure switch is not switching the contact correctly.
First, rule out a slow leak in the circuit by checking air vents, valves, and radiators for any gradual pressure loss.
