  Cause: If the shutter moves with difficulty due to scale or wear, the switching between circuits becomes slow or incomplete.

  Open and close the tap several times in a row and observe if the change becomes faster each time, indicating that the mechanism is loosening with use.

  A dry noise or a click is heard in the area of the gas valve when switching from domestic hot water to heating.

  Cause: The motor or the shutter may be forcing the position change if there is internal mechanical resistance.

  Locate whether the noise comes from the valve motor (higher-pitched, like a small motor) or from the hydraulic body; this will help you identify the faulty part.
