Guide

How to check if ref. 9160123 is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 9160123. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the PCB 9160123 resolves.

The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The boiler doesn't turn on at all, neither the indicators nor the display, as if it's not receiving power.

Cause: The PCB distributes power to the entire system; if its input stage fails, the whole unit does not respond.

Before replacing it, check that 230V is reaching the boiler and that the main fuse and the fuse for the PCB are in good condition.

  • 02

The boiler attempts to ignite, you can hear the spark, and it stops after a few seconds without producing a flame.

Cause: The PCB does not correctly interpret the flame detection signal and locks the boiler for safety.

Note the fault code displayed on the screen; if it indicates a problem with the electrode or the pressure switch, the fault may not be in the PCB.

  • 03

The boiler control is unresponsive: it neither increases nor decreases the temperature, nor does it turn on or off.

Cause: The microprocessor on the PCB has stopped processing the commands it receives.

Check that the connector from the control to the PCB is properly seated and that there are no bent pins before replacing anything.

CodeFaultDiagnosis and solution
E00No communication with the displayThe boiler cannot communicate with the control panel. This may be due to a fault in the PCB. Check the connections of the board and make sure it is functioning properly.
E70Cascade alarm (without communication with SLAVEs)A cascade alarm has been triggered, indicating that the MASTER cannot communicate with one of the SLAVES. This may be due to a fault in the PCB. Check the communication between units and the status of the board.
E71Cascade alarm (alarm on one of the SLAVES)A cascade alarm has been triggered, indicating that there is an alarm in one of the SLAVEs. This may be caused by an issue with the PCB. Check the status of the SLAVEs and the board.
E72Cascade alarm (no communication with MASTER)A cascade alarm has been triggered, indicating that a SLAVE cannot communicate with the MASTER. This may be due to a fault in the PCB. Check the communication between units and the status of the board.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
