Honeywell PCB for Cointra Supra SP 21 EI
The control PCB governs the ignition, burner modulation, pump, and safety features of the Honeywell boiler for Cointra Supra SP 21 EI. If it fails, the boiler may not start, lock out, or behave erratically, displaying fault codes such as E00, E70, E71, or E72. This PCB is compatible with other models in the Cointra Supra range, such as the SP 27 EI, as well as with Baxi Roca Luna and Baxi Luna boilers. It is recommended to replace it when it shows operational faults or communication errors.

How to check if the part number V9158641 is the one for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference V9158641. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the PCB V9158641 resolves.
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not turn on and there is no light or information on the screen, as if it is not receiving power.
Cause: The PCB is the one that controls the general ignition. If its power supply fails, the boiler will not start even if it receives power.
Before assuming that the PCB is faulty, check that the main switch and the fuse for the board are in good condition.
- 02
Different fault codes appear every few days, without a clear pattern.
Cause: An intermittent fault in the components of the PCB can cause various errors, depending on which circuit fails at any given moment.
Note the exact code and when it appears: if it always changes, it is more likely that the problem is with the PCB and not with a specific sensor.
- 03
The room thermostat is unable to turn on the boiler, even though everything seems normal with the boiler.
Cause: The PCB has a system that converts the thermostat signal into a start command. If that part fails, the command is not transmitted.
First, make sure that the thermostat clicks and that the cable going to the boiler is properly connected before blaming the PCB.
- 04
The boiler turns off by itself from time to time and turns back on without you doing anything.
Cause: Small cuts in solder joints or relays on the PCB can interrupt the supply to the components that keep the boiler running.
Before changing the PCB, visually check for burnt areas, cracked solder joints, or loose connectors.
Fault codes for Cointra that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| E00 | No communication with the display | The boiler cannot communicate with the control panel. This may be due to a fault in the PCB. Check the connections of the board and its condition. |
| E70 | Cascade alarm (without communication with SLAVEs) | A cascade alarm has been triggered, indicating that the MASTER cannot communicate with one of the SLAVES. This may be caused by a fault in the PCB. Check the PCB and its operation. |
| E71 | Cascade alarm (alarm on one of the SLAVES) | A cascade alarm has been triggered, indicating that there is an alarm in one of the SLAVEs. This may be caused by an issue with the PCB. Check the PCB and the status of the SLAVEs. |
| E72 | Cascade alarm (no communication with MASTER) | A cascade alarm has been triggered, indicating that a SLAVE cannot communicate with the MASTER. This may be due to a fault in the PCB. Check the PCB and its condition. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
