Supra SP 21 EI / SP 21 I / SP 27 EI Control PCB - Code 0 580 001(06)

Supra SP 21 EI / SP 21 I / SP 27 EI Control PCB - Code 0 580 001(06)

Stock · 1 unit

The control PCB Supra SP 21 EI / SP 21 I / SP 27 EI manages the ignition, burner modulation, pump, and safety features of the boiler. When it fails, the boiler may not start, lock out, or exhibit erratic operation. The user may notice faults such as E00, which indicates a lack of communication with the display, or E70, E71, and E72, which refer to cascading alarms. This PCB is compatible with models from the Cointra Supra SP range, such as the Supra SP 21 I, Supra SP 21 EI, among others. It should be replaced when these failure symptoms are observed.

Guide

How to check if ref. 9158641 is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 9158641. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the PCB 9158641 resolves.

The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The boiler display stays blank or flickers for no apparent reason.

Cause: The PCB controls the display; if it fails, it does not show stable information.

Disconnect and reconnect the display connector to the PCB to rule out a loose connection.

  • 02

The circulating pump does not start when it should, even though you can hear the boiler trying to ignite.

Cause: The relay on the PCB that powers the pump may be stuck or not closing the contact.

With the boiler requesting heating, measure if there is power reaching the pump from the PCB before replacing it.

  • 03

The boiler runs for a few minutes and then locks out on its own, repeating the same cycle.

Cause: A fault in the electronic management of the PCB can cut off the supply after a period of operation.

Note how long it takes to lock: a fixed and repeated time indicates more of a problem with the PCB than with an external sensor.

  • 04

There is no response when pressing the buttons on the control panel.

Cause: The microcontroller on the PCB interprets the button presses; if it fails, the buttons do not work even if the display is fine.

Check that the cable or connector between the control panel and the PCB is properly connected before declaring the PCB faulty.

CodeFaultDiagnosis and solution
E00No communication with the displayThe boiler cannot communicate with the control panel. This may be due to a fault in the PCB. Check the connections of the board and its condition.
E70Cascade alarm (without communication with SLAVEs)A cascade alarm has been triggered, indicating that the MASTER cannot communicate with one of the SLAVES. This may be caused by a fault in the PCB. Check the communication between units and the status of the board.
E71Cascade alarm (alarm on one of the SLAVES)A cascade alarm has been triggered, indicating that there is an alarm in one of the SLAVEs. This may be caused by a fault in the PCB. Check the status of the SLAVEs and the board.
E72Cascade alarm (no communication with MASTER)A cascade alarm has been triggered, indicating that a SLAVE cannot communicate with the MASTER. This may be caused by a fault in the PCB. Check the communication between units and the status of the board.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
