  There is no domestic hot water, or it comes out with unstable temperature.

  Cause: The plates of the domestic hot water heat exchanger are accumulating scale, and the cold water is not heating evenly.

  Increase the set temperature of the domestic hot water on the control panel and check if it improves; if there is no change, check the cold water inlet filter.

  Water is appearing in the area of the heat exchanger.

  Cause: The plates or the welding between them can fail over time and start to leak water.

  Dry the area and turn on the boiler to confirm that the dripping is coming from there and not from a nearby fitting or bleed valve.

  The pressure in the circuit repeatedly drops and needs to be refilled every few days, without seeing any water on the floor.

  Cause: An internal leak in the heat exchanger can allow water to pass from one circuit to another without being noticeable from the outside.

  Record how much the pressure drops in 24 hours with the boiler stopped; if it drops without a visible leak, it is an indication that the problem may be in the heat exchanger.
