Fagor FA/FE/FEB 20 Thermomanometer

Fagor FA/FE/FEB 20 Thermomanometer

Stock · 5 units

The Fagor FA/FE/FEB 20 thermomanometer measures and controls the pressure and temperature of the circuit in your boiler. If it fails, you will notice incorrect readings that can lead to a boiler lockout due to a false lack of pressure or poor temperature regulation. This manometer is compatible with several Fagor boilers, such as the models FA 20 E2 N, FE 20 E, 20 E-1, 20 E-2 B, and 28 E-1, as well as FEB 20 E and 20 E-1, among others. It is recommended to replace it when the readings are incorrect or unstable.

Guide

How to check if it is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the manometer resolves

The manometer shows the pressure of the boiler circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The pressure gauge remains fixed at the same value, regardless of what happens with the boiler.

Cause: The internal mechanism of the thermomanometer gets stuck and does not transmit the actual pressure of the circuit to the dial.

Bleed a radiator and check if the needle moves when lowering the circuit pressure; if it does not react, the fault is in the instrument itself.

  • 02

The boiler is working well, but the pressure gauge reads zero or almost zero.

Cause: The problem is usually with the dial mechanism, not with the actual pressure of the circuit, which may be correct.

Check the pressure with the filling key or a bleeder before confirming the reading and replacing the part.

  • 03

Is there dripping or moisture at the base where the thermomanometer is screwed in?

Cause: The gasket or the mounting fitting loses its seal over time, and water leaks from there, not from the boiler in general.

Dry the area, tighten the fitting carefully, and check again in a few hours before replacing the part.

  • 04

The temperature reading does not match what comes out of the tap.

Cause: The sensor that measures the temperature of the circuit may give an incorrect reading even though the water comes out hot normally.

Compare with an external thermometer at the domestic hot water outlet before assuming that the thermometer-manometer is faulty.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
