Thermomanometer Boiler Baxi Eco 240 FI / Eco 1.240 FI / Eco 240 I / Eco 280 FI
The thermometer-manometer of the Baxi Eco 240 FI / Eco 1.240 FI / Eco 240 I / Eco 280 FI boiler measures and controls the pressure and temperature of the circuit. If it fails, you will notice incorrect readings, which can lead to the boiler locking due to a false lack of pressure or not regulating the temperature properly. This manometer is compatible with models from the Baxi Eco range, such as the Eco 240 I and the Eco 240 FI, among others. It should be replaced when it shows faulty readings or malfunctions.

How to check if the reference JJJ008922380 is the part for your boiler.
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference JJJ008922380. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the pressure gauge JJJ008922380 resolves.
The manometer shows the pressure of the boiler circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The manometer does not indicate pressure or the needle is stuck at a fixed point.
Cause: The sphere mechanism has jammed and does not transfer the actual pressure of the circuit to the needle.
Fill the circuit a little with the filling key and see if the needle reacts even slightly.
- 02
You notice that the boiler loses pressure over time, but the indicator remains the same.
Cause: If the needle is stuck, it will not reflect a real loss of pressure even if there is a leak at another point in the system.
Check the radiators and bleed valves for the actual leak; do not assume that the circuit is fine just because the pressure gauge does not drop.
- 03
You cannot read the water temperature on the dial.
Cause: The copper bulb that measures the temperature may have lost contact with the pipe or degraded over the years.
Check that the bulb is still properly inserted and secured in its housing before replacing the entire part.
- 04
There is a water leak from the thread where the thermomanometer is connected.
Cause: The brass connection loosens or the gasket degrades with the heating cycles of the boiler.
Try tightening the connection with an appropriate wrench without forcing it; if the leak persists after tightening, it is the gasket or the part.
- 05
The gauge is fogged or broken, and neither of the two readings can be distinguished.
Cause: Moisture has entered the enclosure due to a seal that has failed, or the glass has broken due to an impact.
Let the boiler sit for a while to dry and see if the condensation disappears; if it returns immediately with the boiler running, replace the part.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
