  Disconnect and gently blow through the pressure switch connection tubes to rule out any blockage from dust or condensation.

  The ignitions are intermittent: sometimes it lights on the first try and other times it takes several attempts.

  Cause: A pressure switch at the limit of its travel responds irregularly to small pressure variations from the extractor.

  Check that the fan is not making any strange noises and that it doesn't take long to gain speed, to rule out that the problem is coming from there and not from the pressure switch.

  The ventilation blockage occurs mainly when the boiler has been idle for a while or when it's cold.

  Cause: A worn pressure switch loses accuracy and has more difficulty activating during cold starts.
