How to check if ref. 9158747 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 9158747. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the pressure switch 9158747 resolves.
The pressure switch controls the air or water pressure to authorize operation. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not start or locks out right after the fan starts spinning.
Cause: The pressure switch does not detect the depression generated by the extractor, and the control unit interprets that there is not enough smoke evacuation.
Check that the fan spins freely and without unusual noises, and that the flue is not blocked, before declaring the part defective.
- 02
The ignition fault is intermittent; today it starts fine, and tomorrow it locks out for no apparent reason.
Cause: A contact that begins to degrade from use may close irregularly before failing permanently.
Check the silicone pressure tubes: if they are dry, cracked, or poorly fitted, they exhibit the same symptoms as a faulty pressure switch.
- 03
The boiler locks out mainly during strong winds or on days with a lot of air around the chimney area.
Cause: This pressure switch operates within a set pressure range, and an external airflow at the flue outlet can alter the reading and cause occasional blockages.
Note if the fault occurs with wind or also happens under normal conditions, to rule out an external cause before replacing the part.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
