Check that the front slot of the shaft turns freely with a flat screwdriver before declaring the pump seized.

A loud buzzing or vibration is heard in the area of the pump.
Cause: It is usually trapped air in the pump body or the rotor rubbing against limescale deposits.
Bleed the air through the front screw of the pump before replacing it.

The heating circuit is not circulating water and the radiators are cold with the boiler on.
Cause: Locked rotor after a period of inactivity, typical after summer without using heating.
Try to manually unlock the shaft through the front slot and measure that 230V is reaching the pump.
- 04
The pump does not start at any of the three speeds.
Cause: The start capacitor may have degraded and is not providing the initial boost to the motor.
Visually check if the capacitor is swollen or deformed before replacing the entire pump.
