Guide

How to check if ref. 155600002 is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 155600002. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the safety valve 155600002 resolves.

The safety valve releases pressure when the circuit exceeds its setting. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

After bleeding the boiler, the gas valve is leaking instead of closing completely.

Cause: The shutter does not seat properly after firing, usually due to dirt or wear on the seal.

Bleed a couple of times in a row, leaving a few seconds between each one: if it continues to drip, the gasket is no longer sealing.

  • 02

The pressure gauge shows a higher than usual pressure and does not decrease on its own.

Cause: If the valve does not release when reaching the set point, the pressure accumulates in the circuit instead of being relieved.

Before considering the valve good, check that the expansion vessel is not discharged: low air pressure in the vessel also increases the pressure in the circuit.

  • 03

Water is continuously dripping from underneath the boiler, with the system cold.

Cause: A worn seat or one with lime allows a trickle of water to pass even without overpressure.

With the boiler cold and the circuit at normal pressure, observe for several minutes whether the dripping is constant or only occasional.

  • 04

The pressure rises significantly every time the boiler heats water.

Cause: It is the normal behavior of any closed circuit, but if it rises excessively, it may be due to the expansion vessel and not the valve.

First, check the pre-charge pressure of the expansion vessel with the boiler cold and disconnected before replacing the gas valve.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
