Fagor Super Comfort FE 24 E Boiler Fan Extractor Ref. AS0013067
If the boiler does not ignite or gets blocked, it may be due to a fault in the fan extractor. The Boiler Fan Extractor Fagor Super Comfort FE 24 E Ref. AS0013067 is responsible for evacuating combustion gases and creating the necessary draft for the boiler to start. This component is installed in Fagor boilers from the FE and FEB range, such as the model FE24E, among others. It is advisable to replace it when the boiler shows ignition problems or gets blocked due to lack of smoke evacuation.

How to check if ref. AS0013067 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference AS0013067. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the extractor AS0013067 resolves.
The extractor evacuates the combustion gases with forced draft. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler tries to ignite, but the turbine barely spins and stops quickly.
Cause: The pressure switch does not detect sufficient depression because the extractor does not reach the necessary revolutions.
With the boiler turned off and unplugged, check that the turbine spins freely by hand before replacing it.
- 02
The extractor makes a rubbing noise or a loud whistle when starting up.
Cause: The motor bearing wears out over time and the shaft begins to rub against the casing.
Gently touch the casing of the running extractor: if it vibrates a lot, the bearing is worn out.
- 03
The boiler locks out due to a flue fault when starting, even though the flue pipe is clean.
Cause: The extractor does not generate the minimum depression required by the safety pressure switch.
Check that the silicone tubes of the pressure switch are not loose, bent, or blocked before blaming the extractor.
- 04
The extractor starts but stops halfway through the cycle and the boiler turns off the flame.
Cause: The motor loses power when it heats up due to a damaged winding and stops moving enough air.
Note if the fault occurs consistently after several minutes of use; this indicates a thermal fault of the motor, not dirt.
Fault codes for Fagor that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| F-2 | Air pressure switch does not detect air circulation (or fault in the pressure switch itself); the boiler locks out. | Faulty extractor/fan or lack of flow does not generate the necessary depression and the pressure switch does not switch, triggering F-2; check power supply to the fan at start-up, free rotation/noise, and that the pressure switch changes state with the fan running. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
