How to check if ref. 2070268 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 2070268. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the filling valve 2070268 resolves.
The filling valve allows water to refill the heating circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
No water enters when opening the filling valve to increase pressure.
Cause: The internal mechanism is blocked or the passage is obstructed by accumulated limescale debris.
Check that the main water shut-off valve of the house is open, as this is the most common cause.
- 02
The boiler pressure drops on its own and needs to be refilled very often.
Cause: The valve does not close completely and allows a continuous trickle of water to flow into the circuit.
Close the valve tightly, wait a few minutes, and check if the pressure gauge continues to rise without having touched it.
- 03
Is water leaking from the body or from the control of the valve?
Cause: The internal gasket has lost its tightness after many cycles of opening and closing.
Dry the area and check if the drop reappears as soon as you open the tap, to rule out that the leak is coming from a nearby connection.
- 04
It's difficult to turn, it's stuck after months of not being used.
Cause: Limescale deposits in the internal mechanism block the rotation of the control knob.
Handle it gently, without forcing it when cold; if it doesn't give, don't insist with tools.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
