How to check if ref. 953770 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 953770. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the PCB 953770 resolves.
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not ignite and the panel is off.
Cause: If the PCB does not receive power, it cannot activate any circuit.
Check if the main fuse of the boiler and the fuse of the PCB are blown.
- 02
An error code appears on the display that repeats after resetting.
Cause: The PCB blocks the boiler when it detects a persistent fault in the ignition, the flame, or any sensor.
Note the exact code and check the ignition/ionization electrode and its wiring.
- 03
The boiler ignites for hot water but not for heating, or vice versa.
Cause: The PCB controls both circuits separately; if one fails, it does not send the corresponding command.
Check that the room thermostat is sending a demand signal before considering that the PCB is faulty.
- 04
The burner ignites and extinguishes repeatedly without stabilizing (short cycles).
Cause: The PCB adjusts the flame according to the signals it receives; if it fails, it does not modulate the power properly and causes cycles.
Check the flue and clean the burner before ruling out the PCB.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
