The membrane buttons do not respond to touch, even when pressed firmly.
Cause: Membrane keyboards lose internal contact with use and humidity, and stop transmitting the keystroke even though they may appear normal on the outside.
Press each button more firmly and at different points on the touch area; if any respond intermittently, it is more likely a membrane wear issue than a total electrical failure.

The screen does not turn on, although the boiler continues to heat normally.
Cause: This module is the visible part of the panel; if it fails, the information is lost but not necessarily the internal functioning of the boiler.
Check if the boiler is still providing heating or hot water despite the panel being off; this helps to isolate the fault in this part.

The temperature cannot be seen or adjusted from the panel.
Cause: Without a functional screen or keyboard, manual control is lost, even though the main electronics continue to operate.
If there is a programmable thermostat or another external control, check if the boiler can still be adjusted from there; this confirms that the fault is in this panel.

Some buttons on the membrane respond while others do not, in an irregular manner.
