The display turns off and on by itself, or blinks for no apparent reason.
Cause: An intermittent fault on the PCB can be caused by solder joints or components that fail with heat.

The boiler locks up for no apparent reason and does not respond to the buttons or the remote control.

Cut the power for a couple of minutes and then restore it before changing it: this way you rule out a temporary hang-up.

The boiler ignites and then stops on its own without showing a clear fault.
Cause: The PCB may be misinterpreting the signal from a sensor and stopping operation for safety reasons.
Check that no other component, such as a sensor or a pressure switch, is giving an incorrect reading before blaming the PCB.
