There is no domestic hot water, or it comes out intermittently at a lukewarm temperature.
Cause: The heat exchanger is blocked and does not allow enough water to pass through for heating.
Check that the cold water inlet filter is clean; if it is fine and the issue persists, the problem is the heat exchanger.

The boiler turns on for heating without any problem, but it struggles to deliver hot water to the tap.
Cause: The plates are partially blocked by limescale, which slows down the heat exchange.
Let the hot water run for a minute and check if the temperature improves or remains low.

Water is leaking from one of the copper threaded connections of the heat exchanger.
Cause: Any of the connections can leak if the gasket or the thread is damaged.
Carefully tighten each threaded connection and dry the area well before assuming that the heat exchanger is the one with the leak.

Cause: An internal crack in the heat exchanger allows water to escape from the circuit.
