How to check if ref. 9158474 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 9158474. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the pressure gauge 9158474 resolves.
The manometer shows the pressure of the boiler circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The needle stays at zero and does not rise even if you refill the circuit.
Cause: The internal mechanism of the pressure gauge is not transmitting the actual pressure, even though the circuit does have it.
Bleed a nearby radiator and check if you feel resistance or if water comes out; if the circuit has pressure, the gauge is not functioning correctly.
- 02
The needle goes to the red zone and the boiler warns of overpressure without you having touched the filling.
Cause: The pressure gauge can give a falsely high reading when the mechanism becomes misaligned with use.
Bleed a little water from the circuit and see if the needle drops proportionally or stays the same no matter what.
- 03
The pressure gauge does not move either when bleeding or refilling, it remains still.
Cause: The shaft or the internal spring of the needle are seized and no longer respond to pressure changes.
Repeat the filling slowly and check if there is any movement, no matter how small, before declaring the part as unusable.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
