How to check if ref. 125568703 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 125568703. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the pressure switch 125568703 resolves.
The pressure sensor measures the water pressure for the electronics. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The display shows a pressure fault warning even though the boiler's pressure gauge indicates the correct pressure.
Cause: The sensor converts the pressure into an electrical signal for the PCB; if the contact does not switch cleanly, the electronics continue to read incorrect pressure even though the water is fine.
Check the wiring and connector of the sensor (oxidation, loose terminal) before declaring it faulty: it is the most common cause of this phantom reading.
- 02
The boiler locks up as soon as it is turned on, without even attempting to start the burner.
Cause: With the fixed differential of this sensor, there is no margin: if the actual pressure is right at the lower limit of the range, it immediately cuts off the start.
Fill the circuit up to the recommended working pressure and check if the lockout disappears before replacing the part.
- 03
The pressure fault only appears when the boiler has been heating for a while, not when it's cold.
Cause: A sensor with a failure principle loses accuracy as it approaches the 120 °C it can withstand, and that is when the fault occurs.
Note if the fault occurs consistently at the same supply temperature; if so, focus more on the collector than on a leak.
- 04
The boiler works well for a few days and then it shows a pressure fault for no apparent reason.
Cause: A NC/NO contact with incipient wear switches intermittently before failing completely.
Keep track of when the fault occurs: if it becomes more frequent, it is a clear indication that the sensor is degrading.
Fault codes for Cointra that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| E10 | The hydraulic pressure switch does not confirm operation (lack of pressure in the heating circuit). | If the pressure sensor/pressure switch (125568703) does not detect the correct pressure and does not close, the PCB does not enable the boiler and E10 appears; check the actual pressure on the manometer (≈0.7–1.5 bar when cold) and the switching/wiring of the pressure switch (>~0.5 bar). |
| E164 | Lack of switching/consensus of the hydraulic differential pressure switch. | In BIOS, the differential pressure sensor does not change state even though there is pressure/flow (damaged membrane/micro), so the electronics do not receive consensus; check pressure and continuity of the pressure switch during demand and replace if it does not switch with correct values. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
